Learn more at our website : About This Role : ContainerPort Group, a World Group company, is currently looking for a friendly and customer-centric person join our family as a Customer Service Coordinator for our Joliet, Ill.

location! The Customer Service Coordinator will communicate with customers to quote rates and service capabilities, take orders, and provide information on shipment status.

Strong positive communication skills with customers, drivers and co-workers is crucial.

  • Communicating quote rates and service capabilities
  • Processing orders as they arrive
  • Providing information on shipment status, anticipated service failures, new pick-up and delivery times, and alternative solutions if applicable
  • Gathering feedback, identify trends, and bringing new ideas to improve the customer experience
  • Entering time sensitive order information accurately into computer systems
  • Responding to questions and requests as quickly as possible, making every effort to exceed customer expectations
  • Ensuring customer location and contact information is up to date and accurate in computer systems
  • Performing other duties as requested Education and Experience :
  • High school Degree / GED required.
  • Alignment with ContainerPort Group’s mission, brand promise and core values.
  • Exemplary customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey information to customers in a clear, focused, and concise manner.
  • Strategic thinker who is comfortable in a fast-paced, always-on, deadline driven environment.
  • Previous transportation experience
  • Experience working with container freight transportation
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and accurately execute time sensitive tasks.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.). Benefits / Perks :
