Description

Openings for experienced Aircraft Assembly Technicians for Mesa, Arizona, the home of the Apache Longbow Helicopter.

Work Schedule

Need to be open to potential extended hours and / or various work shifts. This position does requires steel toe safety shoes.

Primary Responsibilities

Experience in assembly, disassembly, install, test and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies on Apache Longbow Helicopters.

Follow computer based and other specific processes and systems, including manufacturing planning and blueprints, as well as other forms of both written and oral instructions.

Mechanical, electrical / avionics, sheet metal or composites work on Apache Longbow Helicopters.

Follow specific tool control, FOD (Foreign Object, Debris) control and safety guidelines and policies.

  • Successfully completing training is a contingency for this assignment
  • Must be computer literate and able to navigate computer
  • Physical requirements of the SOW : long hours on feet, confined spaces, harnesses with weight limits and climbing up and down work stands
  • This role is fully on-site
  • This role is primarily 2nd shift except that the first couple weeks of training will be on 1st shift (6 AM - 2 : 30) and after that will be 2nd shift (1 : 30 PM - 10PM)
  • 1-5 things HM is looking for on resumes : Wire assembly knowledge, mechanic attributes
  • The "cell " the HM is hiring contract labor for is installing wire harness on Apache to terming it, also have mechanics doing Hydro windshield wipers and brake installations
  • HM Open to email supplier communication on questions regarding the request

Education / experience :

High school or GED
